Yoga (Pre-K, K) Yoga means union, relating to the connection of the body and the mind. Practicing both physical poses with breath exercises and meditation helps create a balance between the body and mind, offering strength, flexibility and well-being.  Yoga for children offers kids long term benefits while having fun and learning about their bodies. In our classes, we will set our imaginations wild and explore yoga through storytelling, games, songs, animating poses, and guided relaxation. Photography (Grade 1-5) “Brooklyn Marvels”: An introduction to Photography portraying sites of Brooklyn, “elements of art,” and fundamentals of the photographic process in color. Students will complete 11x14 final prints portraying their perspective on various  Brooklyn historical locations such as Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn Museum, Prospect Park, etc. Students will photograph, process, and print their own images and make them come to life—visually.
